We spent a week trekking in Nepal and Karma was amazing! This is my 5th time trekking with Karma and I would not go with anyone else. Karma is professional, kind and funny. He also loves to teach and share with you about this country.
Trekked to EBC in Oct/Nov 2022 with Karma and his team of skillful Sherpas (Parshuram, Sonam, and Mingmo). It was my first hike, and the entire team of Sherpas made it so much easier. Everyone was incredibly modest, funny, and willing to help with anything at any moment. They adjusted to the varying speeds of the climbing members and divided the daypack load whenever someone became fatigued. HIGHER PATH TREKS & EXPEDITION is highly recommended for a safe and once-in-a-lifetime Himalayan adventure!
I planned to show my 16 years-old son the EBC, so after the last year Mera Peak climbing i returned with family. That was no question that we hike with Karma. And - of course - it was excellent. I am gong to come next year again ! So what else can i tell about the Higher Path than that i want my son climbing and trekking with tem in the futute again.
I had a wonderful experience trekking to Everest base camp with our guides Karma and Mingma! They took the best care of our group from the time we landed in Kathmandu, throughout the trek and made sure we made it to the airport for our flights back home. I never felt unsafe, even when some members of our group (including myself) struggled Karma stayed with us and got us through it safely. They took great care of our belongings and chose wonderful lodges for us to stay in. And they were so much fun!! It truly was a trip of a lifetime and they made it incredible! I cannot recommend them enough!
We had an absolutely spectacular Everest Base Camp trek with Karma and Mingma from Higher Path in March 2022. They took care of all the details along the way so we could just focus on the trekking experience and the amazing scenery. Karma was very helpful setting up sightseeing tours in Kathmandu as well before our trek, and he personally escorted us to and from the airport. Can’t wait to visit Nepal again, and definitely plan to take future trips with Higher Path!
Higher Path Treks took excellent care of us from the moment we landed in Kathmandu and were expert guides on our trek to EBC, In Kathmandu they provided us transportation and took us to spots around Kathmandu both popular sites as well as hidden local shops and restaurants, things we absolutely never gotten to experience without them. We quickly became friends and loved eating and spending time with Karma and our guides. When our flight to Lukla was cancelled, Karma saved the day and got us helicopter flights so that remained on schedule. On the trek, they knew half the locals on the trail and in the villages. They knew all the lodge owners and some shop owners, it made our trip feel much more immersed in the local culture. At the lodges they took excellent care of us, making sure we were satisfied with the accommodations and taking care of our meals. When we arrived at Tengboche monastery, the monks said it was closed that day, but Karma talked to someone and then we got to go in. We were always talking about how Karma could work his magic and make things work for us. It was so sad to leave Karma and our guides. This was the best trip I’ve ever taken and Higher Path Treks made it so much more special than I ever hoped. Thank you Karma and Mingma and all our porters!
I absolutely love this company! Im an avid traveler and have done many treks with plenty of trekking companies. No one like them! I hired Karma and his team for my trek up Everest base camp. They took care of me, even when elevation sickness set in. Every step was planned. Every meal, every lodge, every pick up and drop off went without a hitch. I would let them bring my children, that’s how confident i feel about them. I’m willing to answer any questions. I truly adore this team.
It was awesome trekking for EBC and Kalapathar. The big nature of Himalaya fascinated me. I enjoyed not only trekking, but culture of Nepal. There are many small villages in Himalaya and beautiful life there. The people in Himalaya took care of us warmly. That is good memories too. It was tough trekking but we had very good guides, Karma ji and Mingma ji, so we could trek safely. You can count on them. They are professional and can manage everything very well. I really appreciate them. Thank you for awesome time.
I tried EBC. That?was a long way for me. But I had a great guide and good friends. Many nice view, animal, people, food. I felt special time.
My experienced with Karma and his group were exceptional, I would highly recommend this company for any trekking guided tour in Nepal, the guides and porters were very helpful, kind, friendly, they made us feel comfortable.
I had the pleasure of visiting Nepal and completing the Everest Base Camp trek with Karma and his team from Higher Path Treks. It was an experience I will never forget and what made it so great was knowing that myself and the rest of the group were in good hands. Karma runs a professional business in a sustainable way that benefits the community. Also when traveling with Karma, you can expect to have a lot of fun! Enjoy!
