Early morning, you will take a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a gateway to the Khumbu region. The flight itself provides breathtaking views of the Himalayas before landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, known for its short and steep runway. After meeting the rest of the trekking crew, your trek begins towards Phakding. The trail descends from Lukla through lush forests and small Sherpa villages, following the Dudh Kosi River. Along the way, you'll pass through the settlement of Cheplung and cross several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. After approximately 3-4 hours of trekking, you will reach Phakding. Leaving Phakding, the trail follows the Dudh Kosi River and enters Sagarmatha National Park. You will cross several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. The trail gradually ascends through pine forests, offering glimpses of Thamserku peak (6,608m) before reaching Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest. Leaving Namche Bazaar, the trail ascends gradually with stunning views of Everest and neighboring peaks. You will pass through forests of rhododendron and juniper before reaching Phunki Tenga, a small settlement with water-driven prayer wheels. From here, the trail ascends steeply through pine forests to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery. Enjoy breathtaking views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam from Tengboche. Today’s trek descends through rhododendron forests and crosses the Imja River via suspension bridge. The trail then ascends gradually through pastures and yak herds, offering magnificent views of Ama Dablam. Passing through Pangboche village and its ancient monastery, you will continue to Dingboche, a picturesque village with stunning views of Island Peak and Lhotse. Overnight in Dingboche.

Today is a challenging yet rewarding day as you trek to Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. The trail passes through rocky moraines and offers glimpses of the Khumbu Glacier. After a short break in Gorak Shep, continue your trek to Everest Base Camp. Walk alongside the Khumbu Icefall and enjoy the surreal atmosphere of the Everest Base Camp, where climbers prepare for their summit attempts. After exploring and taking pictures, return to Gorak Shep for overnight stay.
Early morning, ascend to Kala Patthar for sunrise views over Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Pumori. Kala Patthar (5,545m) offers the best viewpoint for close-up views of Everest and surrounding peaks. Today is the highlight of your expedition as you attempt the summit of Lobuche East Peak (6,119m). Begin early in the morning under the guidance of your experienced climbing guides. The climb involves crossing rocky terrain, snow slopes, and possibly fixed ropes for safety. As you ascend, enjoy breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, and other surrounding peaks. Reach the summit and celebrate your achievement. After spending some time at the summit, carefully descend back to Lobuche High Camp. Overnight at Lobuche High Camp.
This extra day is reserved for contingencies such as unfavorable weather conditions or if additional acclimatization or rest is required. If the summit was successful on Day 12, you can use this day for relaxation or exploration around Lobuche High Camp. Overnight at Lobuche High Camp.

Today marks the final leg of your trek as you descend from Namche Bazaar to Lukla. The trail descends steeply through lush forests and crosses several suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi River. Early morning, board a scenic flight back to Kathmandu, enjoying the last views of the Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.
