Upon reaching Lama Hotel, relax and replenish your energy with a warm dinner.
Today, you will trek to Langtang Village, a journey of approximately 5 hours. As you arrive in Langtang Village, experience the hospitality of the locals and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Settle into your teahouse for the night.
The trek to Kyangjin Gompa takes about 4 hours and is marked by stunning vistas. As you ascend, you will see more of the spectacular Langtang peaks and glaciers. Once at Kyangjin Gompa, take some time to explore the area, including the ancient monastery and the cheese factory. Spend the night acclimatizing to the altitude, ensuring you’re ready for the ascent to Yala Peak.
Today’s trek to Yala Peak Base Camp will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. The trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including Langtang Lirung and Yala Peak itself. As you reach base camp, set up your tents and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the Himalayas. Spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the summit push.
This day serves as a reserve day, allowing for acclimatization and preparation. Use this time to rest, hydrate, and finalize your gear for the summit attempt. The ascent takes about 4 to 5 hours, and the views from the top are truly rewarding, with panoramic vistas of the surrounding peaks. After spending some time at the summit, begin your descent back to Kyangjin Gompa, which will take approximately 4 to 5 hours. Celebrate your achievement with a well-deserved meal and rest.
Begin your return trek to Lama Hotel, which takes about 5.5 hours. The trail feels different in reverse, and you'll have the chance to enjoy the scenery from a new perspective. Upon reaching Lama Hotel, settle in for the night and reflect on your successful ascent.
Today’s trek back to Syabrubesi will take about 5 hours. The descent is easier on the legs, allowing you to appreciate the vibrant landscapes one last time. Arriving in Syabrubesi, check into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing evening, perhaps sharing stories with fellow trekkers about the journey.
After breakfast, board the bus for the scenic drive back to Kathmandu, which will take around 8 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. Take the evening to explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a final dinner in this captivating city.
On your last day in Nepal, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some final exploration of Kathmandu, if time allows. Your guide will assist with your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
