This region boasts numerous glaciers, each adding to the dramatic landscape that unfolds before trekkers.
The valley is rich in biodiversity, showcasing alpine vegetation, dense forests of rhododendrons and oaks, and a variety of wildlife. As you trek, you may spot Himalayan langurs swinging through the trees or catch a glimpse of a musk deer darting through the underbrush.

Karma, Tsering, and a the porters were amazing. Everything went extremely smoothly. I was impressed how well they managed our large group, too. Thank you so much Higher Paths treks, we had the best time!!
Amazing week on the Langtang trek, Karma is a great guide - he was kind, enthusiastic, patient, and ran the trip smoothly from start to finish.
Karma was the ultimate guide, with superb organization and preparation as well as steady, successful leadership for our group of 9 family and friends to summit Tserko Ri (5000m) in the Langtang Valley. He is a wise, knowledgeable, formidable mountaineer who is also witty and fun! His assistant Tsering is also extremely helpful and kind. The entire experience could not have been better. Highly highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
We went on a trekking tour with Karma in the Langtang Valley. On the last day we climbed the Tserko Ri (5000m). Everything went well and Karma is a very good, level-headed guide. I would always want to go with Karma next time too!!! You can rely on him 100%!!!
Our Langtang Valley Trek could not have been better! Karma was a superb guide, matching his pace to ours and providing a 'hand' whenever necessary. He put together a great team to accompany us on our journey. The tea houses where we stayed were warm and comfortable and the families who ran them welcoming. The route Karma suggested was stunningly beautiful. Higher Path Treks also arranged an excellent Kathmandu city tour for us with a local expert. From my first email to Karma at Higher Path Treks, he was responsive and helpful. An extra bonus of our trip was meeting his family! I would entrust Higher Treks with any future plans to visit Nepal.
