Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the bustling Thamel district. After settling in, you can take some time to relax and acclimatize to the new environment. In the evening, your guide provides an overview of the upcoming adventure.
 

Day 2 : Trek Preparation & Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Spend the day preparing for your trek by gathering necessary gear and supplies. You can visit local shops for trekking equipment or hire anything you might need. Afterward, explore on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. Visit iconic sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), with its panoramic views of the city, and Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa. This cultural immersion will enrich your understanding of Nepal's rich heritage.
 

Day 3 : Drive to Syabrubesi (1,460 m)

After an early breakfast, board a tourist bus or private jeep for an 7-8-hours drive to Shyabrubeshi, the gateway to the Langtang Valley. Upon arrival, check into a local teahouse and enjoy a hearty meal, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere as you prepare for the trek ahead.
 

Day 4 : Trek to Lama Hotel (2,470 m)

Begin your trek through lush forests, crossing the Bhote Koshi River as you ascend towards Lama Hotel. The trek takes about 6-7 hours, with opportunities to spot local wildlife like monkeys and various bird species. Along the way, enjoy the beauty of cascading waterfalls and the sounds of nature. Upon reaching Lama Hotel, relax and replenish your energy with a warm dinner.
 

Day 5 : Trek to Langtang Village (3,430 m)

Today, you will trek to Langtang Village, a journey of approximately 6-7 hours. The trail winds through dense rhododendron forests, gradually ascending and revealing magnificent views of the Langtang Lirung peak. Along the way today you can see wild life such as red panda and monkeys. As you arrive in Langtang Village, experience the hospitality of the locals and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Settle into your teahouse for the night.
 

Day 6 : Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870 m)

The trek to Kyangjin Gompa takes about 4-5 hours and is marked by stunning vistas. As you ascend, you will see more of the spectacular Langtang peaks and glaciers. Once at Kyangjin Gompa, take some time to explore the area, including the ancient monastery and the cheese factory. Spend the night acclimatizing to the altitude, ensuring you’re ready for the ascent to Yala Peak.
 

Day 7 : Acclimatization day

Today is dedicated to acclimatization. You will have the opportunity to explore Kyanjin Gompa and its surroundings. You can hike to the nearby Kyanjin Ri (4,700m) or Tsergo Ri (4,980m) for panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and other peaks of the Langtang range. Day 8 : Trek to Yala Peak Base Camp (4,800 m)

Today’s trek to Yala Peak Base Camp will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. The trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including Langtang Lirung and Yala Peak itself. As you reach base camp, set up your tents and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the Himalayas. Spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the summit push.

Day 9 : Summit Yala Peak (5,500m) and Return to Kyangjin Gompa

An early morning start will have you climbing to the summit of Yala Peak. The ascent takes about 4 to 5 hours, and the views from the top are truly rewarding, with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. After spending some time at the summit, begin your descent back to Kyangjin Gompa, which will take approximately 4 to 5 hours. Celebrate your achievement with a well-deserved meal and rest.
 

Day 10 : Trek Back to Lama Hotel (2,470 m)

Begin your return trek to Lama Hotel, which takes about 5-6 hours. The trail feels different in reverse, and you'll have the chance to enjoy the scenery from a new perspective. Upon reaching Lama Hotel, settle in for the night and reflect on your successful ascent.

Day 11 : Trek to Shyabrubeshi (1,460 m)

Today’s trek back to Syabrubesi will take about 5-6 hours. The descent is easier on the legs, allowing you to appreciate the vibrant landscapes one last time. Arriving in Shyabrubeshi, check into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing evening, perhaps sharing stories with fellow trekkers about the journey.
 

Day 12 : Drive Back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, board the bus for the scenic drive back to Kathmandu, which will take around 7-8 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. Take the evening to explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy a final dinner in this captivating city.
 

Day 13 : FInal Departure

On your last day in Nepal, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some final exploration of Kathmandu, if time allows. Your guide will assist with your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
