We had an absolutely spectacular Everest Base Camp trek with Karma and Mingma from Higher Path in March 2022. They took care of all the details along the way so we could just focus on the trekking experience and the amazing scenery. Karma was very helpful setting up sightseeing tours in Kathmandu as well before our trek, and he personally escorted us to and from the airport. Can’t wait to visit Nepal again, and definitely plan to take future trips with Higher Path!
I can highly recommend Karma and his team. Planned the three pass trek long time. Due to covid situation, it had to be postponed for three years. During that time, Karma was allways around and answered all questions fast. He managed everthing totally professional. He became a real fried over the time. On the trip, we allways felt safe and well provided. All Loges were pre booked. So, we were able to enjoy the full trip without any problems. Even when there were problems due to bad weather conditions to fly out from Lukla back to Kathmandu, to catch Flight to Europe, Karma mananged everything fast and without extra costs and we catched a helicopter. Thanks again my friend Karma for that adventure. So if you want i professional agency with sense for the nature and with the spirit of friendship, i can only recommend karma and his team. I had a wonderful experience trekking to Everest base camp with our guides Karma and Mingma! They took the best care of our group from the time we landed in Kathmandu, throughout the trek and made sure we made it to the airport for our flights back home. I never felt unsafe, even when some members of our group (including myself) struggled Karma stayed with us and got us through it safely. They took great care of our belongings and chose wonderful lodges for us to stay in. And they were so much fun!! It truly was a trip of a lifetime and they made it incredible! I cannot recommend them enough!
I planned to show my 16 years-old son the EBC, so after the last year Mera Peak climbing i returned with family. That was no question that we hike with Karma. And - of course - it was excellent. I am gong to come next year again ! So what else can i tell about the Higher Path than that i want my son climbing and trekking with tem in the futute again.
Karma Sherpa is the owner. He was raised in a small village in the Everest region. I use Higher Path every time I come to Nepal for trekking. He always provides me with excellent service and fantastic guides/porters for my trek. Most recently, i did the trek to Gokyo and had Sonam Sherpa as my guide. he was beyond excellent..very caring and a wonderful disposition and very focused on safely. I have used Karma now for probably 5 or 6 treks and always the guides and porters have been great. In addition, Karma plans the entire trip including time in KTM etc so you don't have to do anything except show up and then enjoy the amazing scenery. Karma is a certified mountain guide and climbing expert so he leads many mountain ascents. I HIGHLY recommend Karma and his company Higher Path.
