Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. After settling in, depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or rest and prepare for the trek ahead. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, offers a mix of ancient temples, bustling markets, and a rich cultural heritage that you can begin to immerse yourself in.

Day 2 : Drive to Pokhara (860 m) - 6 hours

Today, after an early breakfast, Scenic drive to Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna region. The journey covers approximately 220 km and takes around 6 hours, passing through picturesque landscapes, rural villages, and alongside the Trishuli River. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you'll be transferred to your hotel near the serene Phewa Lake. Pokhara is a relaxed city with stunning views of the Annapurna range, and you can spend the evening boating on the lake or strolling through Lakeside, Pokhara's tourist hub.

Day 3 : Drive to Kande and Trek to Forest Camp (2,600 m) via Australian Camp - 6 hours

In the morning, we drive to Kande, a journey of about an hour from Pokhara. From Kande, our trekking adventure begins as we hike through lush rhododendron forests and terraced farmland, passing Australian Camp along the way. The trek to Forest Camp takes approximately 6 hours, and upon reaching our destination, we settle into our lodge surrounded by the tranquility of the forest. This day introduces you to the trekking terrain and allows for acclimatization as we ascend gradually.

Day 4 : Trek to High Camp (3,550 m) via Badal Danda (3,215 m) - 5 hours

Today's trekking route offers spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks as we ascend towards High Camp. The trail winds through rhododendron and oak forests, with occasional clearings offering panoramic vistas of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the Annapurna range. Badal Danda, meaning "Cloud Hill," provides a perfect spot for a break and breathtaking photo opportunities. Continuing onwards, we reach High Camp, our resting point for the night, where we can enjoy the crisp mountain air and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 5 : Hike to Mardi View Point (4,500 m) and trek to Low Camp - 6 hours

Today's trek involves an early morning hike to Mardi View Point, where we witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The panoramic views from this vantage point are truly unforgettable, with Machhapuchhre standing prominently in the foreground. After soaking in the majestic scenery, we descend back to High Camp for breakfast before continuing our trek to Low Camp. The trail descends through dense forests and alpine meadows, offering different perspectives of the surrounding landscapes. Low Camp, nestled amidst rhododendron forests, provides a serene setting for overnight stay.

Day 6 : Trek to Sidding (1,745 m) and drive back to Pokhara (860 m) - 3.5 hours trek and 1.5 hour drive

Leaving the high-altitude landscapes behind, we descend towards Sidding, a Gurung village where we experience traditional Nepalese culture and hospitality. The trek descends through terraced fields and villages, allowing for interactions with local communities and insights into their way of life. Upon reaching Sidding, we bid farewell to our trekking crew and drive back to Pokhara. The evening in Pokhara can be spent relaxing by the lakeside or exploring the city's shops and cafes.

Day 7 : Drive Back to Kathmandu (1,338 m) - 7 hours

Today, Scenic drive back to Kathmandu, retracing our route alongside rivers, terraced fields, and rural settlements. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can either rest or explore more of the city's cultural sites, such as Durbar Square or Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). In the evening, you might choose to indulge in a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, celebrating the completion of your trek.

Day 8 : Final Departure

Your adventure in Nepal concludes today. After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey. As you depart, you carry with you memories of stunning mountain vistas, cultural encounters, and the satisfaction of completing the Mardi Himal trek, a journey that has immersed you in the natural beauty and hospitality of Nepal.
