Upon arrival in Chhukung, meet our climbing guide at your teahouse before lunchtime. After lunch, the guide will conduct a complete pre-climb briefing covering:
This is also the time to check and organize your climbing gear before heading to base camp.
After breakfast, begin the gradual trek from Chhukung to Island Peak Base Camp. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you with lunch and hot drinks. Tea, coffee, and boiled drinking water are available throughout your stay at base camp.
In the afternoon, climbers can rest, prepare equipment, and receive final instructions from the climbing guide before summit day.
Our base camp kitchen staff will prepare an early breakfast with tea, coffee, and boiled water in the dining tent before the climb. Climbers should have all climbing gear prepared before breakfast.
The summit climb and return to base camp generally takes around 9–10 hours, depending on weather conditions and individual pace.
After reaching base camp, enjoy lunch and a short rest before trekking back down to Chhukung. Your climbing guide will accompany you safely back to your teahouse.
