Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax or explore the lively streets of Thamel, a popular tourist hub filled with restaurants, cafes, trekking shops, and cultural attractions.
Today begins with final trekking preparation and permit checking in Kathmandu. Around midnight (1:00 AM), you will depart by shared tourist vehicle for Ramechhap Airport, a scenic drive of approximately 4–5 hours. During the main trekking seasons, most Lukla flights operate from Ramechhap due to heavy air traffic in Kathmandu.
After arriving at Ramechhap Airport, you will take a thrilling mountain flight to Lukla (2,860m), known as the gateway to the Everest region. The flight offers spectacular aerial views of the Himalayas and surrounding valleys.
Upon arrival in Lukla, meet your trekking crew and begin your first trekking day toward Phakding. The trail gently descends through beautiful Sherpa villages, pine forests, prayer wheels, and suspension bridges along the Dudh Koshi River, making it a comfortable and enjoyable start to the Everest Base Camp Trek.
The trek continues along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges decorated with colorful prayer flags. Enter Sagarmatha National Park and climb steadily toward Namche Bazaar, the famous Sherpa town and trading center of the Everest region.
Today is an important acclimatization day to help your body adjust to the altitude. You can explore Namche Bazaar, visit the Sherpa Museum, local cafes, and enjoy panoramic mountain views.
Today includes a scenic acclimatization hike to Kunde Ri for spectacular panoramic views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and the Khumbu Valley. After enjoying the breathtaking scenery, descend to the beautiful Sherpa village of Khumjung for an overnight stay.
The trail passes through rhododendron forests, alpine landscapes, and traditional villages. Enjoy magnificent views of Ama Dablam, Everest, and Lhotse along the route before arriving in Pangboche, one of the oldest Sherpa settlements in the region.
Continue trekking deeper into the Khumbu region as the landscape becomes more rugged and dramatic. Dingboche is a beautiful village surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks and stone-walled fields.
Today you will hike to Nagarjun Ri, one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region. The climb offers incredible views of Makalu, Lobuche Peak, Ama Dablam, and the surrounding glaciers. This hike also helps your body properly acclimatize before heading to higher elevations.
The trail gradually climbs through alpine terrain and memorial sites dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest expeditions. Continue alongside the Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche.
Today is the highlight of the trek. After breakfast at Gorakshep, continue trekking to Everest Base Camp, standing at the foot of the world’s highest mountain. Enjoy unforgettable views of the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding Himalayan peaks before returning to Lobuche for overnight accommodation in Lobuje
Descend through scenic mountain trails toward the peaceful Sherpa village of Phortse. The route offers stunning views and a quieter trekking experience away from the main trail.
Continue descending through forests and mountain villages back to Namche Bazaar. Enjoy warmer temperatures and celebrate the successful completion of your Everest Base Camp journey.
Your final trekking day follows the Dudh Koshi River back to Lukla. Spend the evening celebrating with your trekking crew and fellow travelers.
Take an early morning flight from Lukla to Ramechhap, followed by a scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy your final evening in Nepal.
