The 16-days Island peak climbing begins when you arrive in Kathmandu. We visit the historically and culturally rich sites in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the melange of varying culture, traditions, and ethnic communities. The city is quite a spectacle in terms of the cultural and religious wealth. We then take a flight to Lukla which has one of the most dangerous airports in the world. Upon landing, we take a rest and trek to Namche Bazaar followed by a trek to Tengboche. Our trek continues to Dingboche with the usual scenic beauties along the way. We climb up the Chukkung Ri peak to get the gorgeous views of the Ama Dablam (6,856 m), Amphu Labcha (5,663 m), Island peak (6,189 m) and many other peaks. Our trail then leads us to the Island Peak Base Camp (4,970 m) where we confront the beautiful mountain itself. Following a day’s training, we climb the mountain. The top of the mountain offers such an astounding view that we are bound to bow down to the divine creation of Mother Nature. We can see towering mountain peaks like Lhotse (8,414 m), Ama Dablam (6,856 m), Chukkung Ri (5,550 m), Nuptse (7,861 m) as well as many others. After the rewarding scenery, we return to Lukla passing through Pangboche and Namche Bazar. Finally, the journey comes to an end after we reach the capital.
