The Everest Panoramic Trek and yeti Home Experience will bring you up into this famous mountain region like no other trek can. The tour begins in Kathmandu where the group will assemble and get ready to take the exciting flight to Lukla. Here the trek begins and the first day is a mostly downhill descent along a beautiful river to the gateway to the Land of the Sherpa and Himalayan foothills. From here, the trek will continue on to such fabled places like Namche Bazaar, and Thame which is the birthplace of Tenzin Norgay, the first Nepali to summit Mt Everest. The trek will astound the traveler with views of Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse (8,516 m), and Ama Dablam (6,170 m). Along with soaring mountains, the trek passes through deep plunging valleys, high footbridges, and soft whispering pines will beckon the trekker along up the well-metered ascents. Other highlights are the Thame Monastery (3820m), and time to do side hikes as extra days are built in for sightseeing, or just relaxing in the deluxe accommodations.

ITINERARY
- Day 01
Meet at the group hotel in Kathmandu. Transfers from Kathmandu Airport are provided.
The first day is arrival into Kathmandu and settling into the group hotel. We have arranged transport from Tribhuvan International Airport to the hotel. Relax and rejuvenate on the first day of traveling.
- Day 02
Fly to Lukla, then trek mainly downhill to the riverside settlement of Phakding (2610m).
The second day is the beginning of the adventure! Once assembled at the group hotel the group will go to the Kathmandu airport for the flight to Lukla. The landing is an exciting part of the adventure, and once in Lukla, the trek begins. The day is mostly a steady downhill to the riverside settlement of Phakding (2610m) which can be done in about 4 hours. This is a perfect introduction to the trek with easy descents to the first night in the Yeti Mountain Home Lodges where traditional Sherpa style meets luxurious lodge.
- Day 03
Trek to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar (3440m). Rest of the day free to relax or explore.
Waking up at the foothills of the Khumbu Region and gateway to the land of the Sherpa people and their culture is truly marvelous. Day three is the trek to the Sherpa capital, and world famous Namche Bazaar (3400m). Get the camera ready because today the trek winds through deep gorges crosses high suspension bridges, and climbs easily to the heart of Sherpa life. The hike takes roughly 6 hours to reach Namche Bazaar. The Yeti Mountain Home is perched just above the village and affords excellent views of the Himalayan Mountains. Namche Bazaar is a perfect place to take a two-day acclimatization period with many wonderful museums and markets to visit.
- Day 04
At Namche Bazaar. Optional day-walk to Khumjung and Kunde for views of Everest.
This is a free day to take in the views of Mt Everest (8,848 m), Mt Lhotse (8,414 m) and Ama Dablam (6,856 m) just above Namche Bazaar on an optional day hike to Khumjung and Kunde. Famous monastery Khumjung monastery and Khunde Hillary Hospital can be visited in these villages. Return back to Namche and visit the famous Sherpa Cultural Museum which shows the culture and tradition of the Sherpa community.
- Day 05
Trek above the Bhote Khosi River via Phurte and Thamo to the Sherpa settlement of Thame (3820m).
The trek winds above the Bhote Khosi River via Phurte and Thamo to the Sherpa settlement of Thame (3820m). This 5-hour walk will meander through pine forested valleys that will lead all the way to the end of the Khumbu Valley. Thame is the birthplace of the famous mountaineer Tenzing Norgay who was the first to summit Mt Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary.
- Day 06
: Thame Monastery visit and optional trek to Sunder Ridge (4830m). We spend a second night in Thame.
With the second day in Thame to acclimatize properly, there will be plenty of time to explore around Thame. Sitting above this fabled high Sherpa village, Thame Monastery where festivals are held every year. There is also the optional trek to Sunder Ridge (4830m). The magnificent views of Mt. Everest (8848m), Cho Oyu (8188m), Thamserku (6608m) and Kusum Khangkaru (6367m) are seen from Sunder Ridge.
- Day 07
Trek on an ancient and recently renovated trail to Kongde (4250m) with its amazing Everest views.

This Yeti Mountain Home was voted one of the best, highest hotels by Travel and Leisure. This lodge offers unique and breathtaking views of Everest (8848m) while providing deluxe accommodations. - Day 08
: Trek to the viewpoint of Farak Ri (5000m) or relax at the lodge. We spend a second night in Kongde.
One night is not enough for the incredible scenery and day hikes available around the Yeti Mountain Lodge Home of Kongde so we have added a second night. Trek to the viewpoint of Farak Ri (5000 m) which takes 3 hours. From here the amazing view of whole Khumbu valley along with the snow-capped mountains such as Mt. Everest (8848m) and Cho Oyu (8188m) can be seen.
- Day 09
Today involves a long trek down to reach the Everest Trail and the small Sherpa village of Phakding (2610m).
Today involves a long trek down to reach the Everest Trail and back to the small Sherpa village of Phakding (2610m). Moving through the jungles towards Toktok village and continuing the walk of 3 hours we will finally reach Phakding.
- Day 10
Trek back to Lukla, with the afternoon free to explore this thriving airstrip settlement.
Trek back to Lukla and enjoy a night at the Yeti Mountain Home in the exciting village from where the trek began. It’s a perfect place to relax tired legs, eat delicious traditional or western meals in the restaurant, and relax after an exciting mountain adventure.
- Day 11
Fly back to Kathmandu.
Today you will return back to Kathmandu and the flight affords last chance to view the incredible Khumbu Region. Return back to the hotel and have some rest there.
- Day 12
Free day in Kathmandu for sightseeing, shopping or relaxing.
This free day is reserved for enjoying the final day in Kathmandu. Enjoy some local cuisine and roam around Boudhanath to view the magnificent view of the stupa.
- DAY 13
: Departure day
Today you are transferred to the international airport and bid you farewell.
